The Road to College

I sent my first child to College this past year and learned that times sure have changed! From applications, college visits, tours, dorm selection, parking, greek life, deadlines, and more....college life had changed! I have a very type A personality, so all of these items led me to stress about things. I did my best to try to stay organized and keep up with it all, but it definitely took a village. I relied on my Facebook College Groups and fellow mamas to help get through it all! During the process I created 2 documents that really helped my daughter and I keep up with everything.

I created a College Application Tracker and a College Move-In Packing List (just wait until you see how dorm decor has changed)! The application tracker helped us keep track of all of the deadlines and also helped us to decide which school was the best fit. The College Packing List was a spreadsheet that we used to track anything and everything that we needed to pack and the status of each item (Need to order, Ordered, Arrived, Packed, etc). We both LOVED having this and checking items off as they arrived!
